Ryan Runcie is an Austin-based artist and muralist whose work explores identity, memory, and perception through bold color and abstraction. Drawing from his experience as a first-generation American, he creates paintings and public artworks that invite connection and challenge assumptions.

Runcie has completed major mural commissions for Verizon, Moody Center, Starbucks, Austin Energy, Texas Empowerment Academy, Abbott Industries, and the historic Blackshear Fine Arts Academy, as well as landmark community works, including The Rise of Masontown and the Veterans Memorial in San Marcos, Texas.

Featured by PBS Arts in Context, LUXE, Tribeza, and Avenoir Austin’s A-List, Runcie is recognized as one of Austin’s leading contemporary artists. His work is collected nationwide, particularly by patrons dedicated to championing Black contemporary art and culturally impactful voices.
