What's going on here?

Keep It In The Neighborhood is a passion project by Aiden Schrock that intends to serve as a directory for local Austin businesses that sell hand-crafted goods. In a world overrun by AI products and mass-production, it can be difficult to find truly hand-crafted items. The best way to find stores/creators like these is to attend local markets or browse Instagram and hope to be blessed by the algorithm. This site puts them all in one place for easy browsing.

You may have noticed that there are no/limited pictures of products on this site. That's because it would violate copyright laws to use pictures that I didn't take without permission from the creators.
