Did you wake up and realize Valentines is less than a week away? Me too! But nothing is less romantic than an overnight shipped Amazon package. So these are my recommendations to put together something special in just a day- all from local shops here in Austin.

Paper & Craft Pantry is first on my list because it could be your one stop shop! They carry gift cards, gift packaging, a small collection of home goods, and tons of awesome stationary items. If you’re not sure where to start, check on their Valentines section at the front of the store. They also carry a few candies and stuffed animals to top it all off.

Lammies Candies

Lammies Candies is a historic Austin candy maker, operating since 1885! They have Valentines boxes of their best selling candies like their Longhorn pecan caramel nut clusters and their Texas Chewie Pecan Pralines. You can also opt for some classic chocolate truffles or cherry cordials.

One of my all time favorite gifts to give, a bouquet that lasts forever (or at least a year). Flor Keeps carries some special Valentines day rose bouquets and flower boxes. I’d recommend picking a bouquet that fits the style of you/your partner’s home- it’s going to be around a while! While they do carry classic vases, they also have some fun vase options like a disco vase or a cowgirl boot.

If you like a bit of juice for your romantic night, WhichCraft carries a unique variety. Even Craft beer lovers will find brands they’ve never seen before. While the collection largely is from Texas brewers, they curate some of the most interesting flavors from around the states. They also carry THC beverages and spirits, cider, and wine.
